Committee
Seeks Nominations for 2007 Board
The Chamber is membership driven. It is governed by a Board of
Directors made up of fifteen local business people who provide the
direction and set policy for the organization. Each year the
Chamber’s nominating committee seeks members to serve on the Board.
Service on the Chamber Board is about leadership and commitment.

Board Member Requirements
Requirements to serve on the Chamber Board are simple. First you must
be a Chamber member. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, you must
be willing to become involved. It is certainly more than just
attending monthly Board meetings. It is about taking a leadership
role in the community. Serving as chair of a Chamber committee,
attending various Chamber functions, and being responsive to the needs
and wants of the membership The Chamber Board meets the
second Tuesday of each month. This year the nominating committee will
be sending prospective Board members a simple one page questionnaire
to help them match the needs of the Chamber with the interests of
potential Board members. If you are interested in serving on the
Chamber Board, please contact the Chamber office at 262-2790 and we
will send you the questionnaire.
